Long time no see....

Soooo... I haven't been on here in a while and there are no excuses, just pure laziness I guess! Lots has been happening in life, but I guess I am still not entirely used to this blogging malarkey!

Anyway, exciting things have been happening scrapping wise: a few of my LOs have gone up over at the Twisted Sketches site - love working with these guys and it's so much fun to play along to! The other day I realised that I am about half way through my DT slot, which is slightly scary as to how fast time has gone by!
As well as the Twisted Sketches, I was asked to be part of this new project Sketches2Scrsapbook which should be making an appreance on iPhones and iTouches around the start of November! I am so so excited about this and for Anam, the creator! She has put so much effort into getting this up and running that I wish her all the best with it!

Aart from this news, things have been rather quiet of late. School holidays are almost over and back to work on Monday - wish me luck!!

Smooth Talker!

G'day everyone!

Well the latest installment of Twisted Sketches are up here and the twist was smooth, which I managed to incorporate into the title! This is my first sketch for the team and I must say i'm rather pleased with it!

As well as my Twisted Sketches, I have been busy on this little project. Can't say it too me very long to make, although was done over a few days - I kept coming back to it and adding little bits! It's for a friend's birthday so hope she likes it. It started life out as a boring frame from Hobbycraft and now it has been transformed! The picture isn't great and doesn't really do it justice but my camera was running out of batteries and we have none in the house just now!

Well, I hope this little scrappiness wil keep you ticking over for a couple of days - I have others to show you, just need to take photos of them! Note to self - must buy batteries!

The Make and Create Shop

What a gorgeous day it is today - probably shouldn't be spending it inside writing this but I just came across this fab new online shop that I had to share with you all! The Make and Create Shop is run by Anna whose aim is to make little embellishment kits for people to buy. Now if you are like me and love a little bit of everything, then this is right up your street. I particularly love the 'Summer Splash' kit which would fit perfectly with the Echo Park line Sweet Summertime! Her plan is to bring out a new kit each month so some Christmas time (yes, that dreaded word...) these kits will be great for adding that little something to your LOs. I wish her all the best with her online venture and will definately be dropping by each month to see what kits are coming next!

I'm Going To Try And Be Good At This....I Promise!

Bonjour everyone!

Well this is my attempt at blogging so please excuse me if i'm a little slow at first....practise makes perfect and all that! This blog is mainly for sharing my love of scrapbooking, although i'm sure a little bit of everything will be thrown into the mix! My first bit of news that I am so very very pleased about is that I have been selected as part of the Twisted Sketches design team!! This makes so very happy and I am over the moon about this - it's a huge sign of recognition so I hope I can live up to it!! I shall leave you with my winning sketch on the theme of 'music'!
